The facility serves as a Level I Burn Center and Level I Trauma Center, with particular expertise in orthopedics, joint care, behavioral health, and cardiovascular care.
Responsibilities
- Provide essential patient care including assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), vital sign monitoring, mobility support, and comfort and hygiene measures
- Perform nursing tasks such as wound care, catheter care, specimen collection, and other basic procedures as you gain experience and competency
- Document care accurately and communicate timely updates with the nursing team to ensure seamless and coordinated patient care
- Help patients and families understand their care plans and provide guidance for health and recovery
- Maintain clean and safe patient areas by following infection prevention practices, managing equipment, and organizing the environment
- Engage in learning opportunities, share ideas to improve care, and work with your supervisor or preceptor to develop your personal career development plan
Required Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in an RN program
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
Compensation
- Hourly wage: $16.02 - $22.43 per hour
- Actual salary may vary based on specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees in the role
