Job Description
As a Nurse Extern at Piedmont Cartersville, you will provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. You will work with patients across the lifespan, utilizing treatments, procedures, and equipment appropriate for a pre-licensure nurse in the clinical setting according to hospital policy.
Required Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in and progressing through an accredited nursing program
- Successfully completed the first Medical/Surgical rotation
- Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification from a Nursing Assistant or Patient Care Technician program
- Phlebotomy Technician Certification
- Basic ECG Certification
