Nurse Extern - May 2027 Graduate RN

Vitruvian Health is seeking a Nurse Extern to assist licensed nursing staff in providing patient care under the direction of a Registered Nurse. This position is designed for students graduating with an RN degree in May 2027.

You will work with patients across all age groups, including pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations. The role involves clinical rotation shifts across multiple nursing specialty areas, providing hands-on patient care experience while working alongside nurses and physicians.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed nursing staff in providing direct patient care
• Work with patients of all ages under RN supervision
• Perform clinical rotations in various nursing specialty areas
• Develop in-depth knowledge of different areas of nursing practice
• Work hands-on with patients and collaborate with nurses and physicians
• Operate within defined best practices of nursing
