Job Description

Cabell Huntington Hospital is seeking Nurse Externs for the Labor & Delivery unit. This position offers junior and senior nursing students the opportunity to gain valuable clinical experience working alongside Registered Nurses in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities

Carry out routine and assigned nursing tasks within the scope of training and experience
Assist Registered Nurses with patient care activities
Work within hospital and nursing service policies and procedures

Required Qualifications

Currently enrolled as a Junior or Senior in an accredited professional nursing program
Two letters of recommendation from nursing instructors
Experience effectively dealing with the public
CPR certification
Glucoscan certification
