Nurse Extern - ICU (PRN)

Join Mon Medical Center's ICU as a Nurse Extern and develop your nursing skills through hands-on experience and mentorship with an experienced Registered Nurse. In this PRN position, you will gain practical clinical experience performing direct patient care in a fast-paced intensive care setting.

Responsibilities

Under the direction of a Registered Nurse, you will:

• Collect comprehensive assessment data pertinent to patients' health and clinical situations
• Analyze assessment data to determine diagnoses and clinical issues
• Identify expected outcomes individualized to each patient's situation
• Develop plans that prescribe strategies and alternatives to attain expected outcomes
• Implement identified nursing plans
• Evaluate patient progress toward attainment of outcomes

You will provide direct patient care with a focus on delivering an extraordinary patient experience, compassionate care, and clinical excellence.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Completed nursing fundamentals skill check-off as evidenced by lab and/or clinical experience
• Current CPR certification
• Ability to perform light work, including frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 10 lbs, with a maximum lifting capacity of 25 lbs
