The opportunity
Job Description
This is a Nurse Extern position in Medical Surgical nursing, working the night shift (7pm-7am) on weekends only (Saturday and Sunday) on a PRN (as-needed) basis.
You will work under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse, providing essential patient care duties including obtaining vital signs, bathing, feeding, dressing, transporting, and grooming based on the needs of the patient population. You will conduct hourly rounds to ensure patient well-being while creating a comforting and secure environment for patients and visitors.
Required Qualifications
- Successful completion of Nursing Fundamentals course
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
