Job Description

LaserAway is seeking a Nurse Educator and Clinical Trainer to drive consistent, high-quality, and compliant clinical execution across multiple aesthetic clinic locations in the LA West territory. This field-based role bridges strategy and execution by ensuring clinical standards, training programs, and protocols are effectively delivered, reinforced, and sustained across all assigned locations.

You will lead through strong field presence, coaching Lead Clinicians, and directly intervening where performance gaps exist. This role is critical in ensuring that clinical excellence is consistently achieved across all locations—not just in isolated pockets.

Clinical Setting

This position covers multiple clinic locations across the LA West territory, including Thousand Oaks, Valencia, Porter Ranch, Topanga Village, Santa Monica, Marina Del Rey, Beverly Hills, West Hollywood, Hermosa Beach, and expansion locations at 3rd and Fairfax, Manhattan Beach, and Torrance. You will work in a fast-paced, high-volume aesthetic clinical environment.

Clinical Oversight and Quality Execution

  • Own clinical quality, safety, and protocol adherence across all locations in the territory
  • Conduct regular site visits, audits, and observation rounds
  • Identify performance gaps and implement structured improvement plans
  • Reinforce clinical standards through real-time, in-field coaching

Leadership and Team Development

  • Directly manage and develop Lead Clinicians as the primary driver of clinic-level performance
  • Conduct regular one-on-one meetings, coaching sessions, and performance reviews
  • Build leadership capability within Lead Clinicians to ensure scalable coaching at the clinic level
  • Support succession planning and internal talent development
  • Partner with HR Business Partners and Senior Clinical Partners on talent decisions

Training and Capability Building

  • Deliver hands-on clinical training for new hires and existing clinicians
  • Support onboarding, ramp-up, and ongoing skill development
  • Facilitate new treatment rollouts and training refreshers
  • Evaluate training effectiveness and address skill gaps

Operational and Workforce Support

  • Monitor clinic readiness, including staffing coverage, callouts, and clinician availability
  • Step into treatment coverage when needed to support operations
  • Partner with Lead Clinicians and Location Directors to ensure alignment with patient demand
  • Identify and escalate operational risks or gaps proactively

Compliance and Risk Management

  • Ensure adherence to all regulatory, safety, and clinical standards
  • Verify credentialing, documentation accuracy, and audit readiness
  • Conduct audits and ensure corrective actions are completed and sustained
  • Escalate risks or compliance concerns to leadership promptly

New Clinic Readiness

  • Support clinical readiness for new clinic openings
  • Ensure clinicians are trained, credentialed, and operationally prepared
  • Provide opening support and post-opening stabilization

Talent Selection

  • Conduct clinician interviews to support hiring needs across the territory
  • Assess candidates for clinical competency, judgment, and ability to perform in high-volume environments
  • Clearly communicate role expectations, including pace, scheduling, and standards
  • Partner with leadership and HR to ensure consistent hiring decisions

Required Qualifications

  • Active and unrestricted RN license
  • Three to five or more years of clinical experience, with leadership or training experience preferred
  • Demonstrated experience in coaching, training, or developing clinicians
  • Strong clinical judgment and ability to assess treatment quality and protocol adherence
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume, multi-site environment
  • Excellent communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to travel extensively, up to 100% across assigned territory

Preferred Qualifications

  • Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) credential
  • Leadership or training experience

  • Dental and vision coverage
  • 401(k) plan
  • Paid time off
  • Generous employee discounts
  • Additional earning potential through performance review
