Nurse Clinician- School of Medicine, Hematology

Emory University's School of Medicine is seeking a Nurse Clinician for the Hematology specialty clinic. In this role, you will provide advanced clinical nursing care to hematology patients, managing patient assessments, care planning, implementation, and evaluation within a specialty clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Use advanced clinical nursing skills to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in the hematology specialty
• Coordinate and manage administrative duties associated with clinic operations and patient scheduling
• Facilitate patient flow and provide patient education
• Refer patients for further care or services as appropriate
• Ensure all supplies needed for clinic operations are available and maintained
• Maintain required documentation and medical records
• May coordinate or conduct staff in-service training
• Perform related responsibilities as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Georgia
• Four years of recent Registered Nursing experience within the past five years, of which at least two years must be in a related specialty
