NP, Nurse Practitioner/PA, Physician Assistant - Neurology

Join our Neurology team in Longview, TX as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant. This full-time position offers the opportunity to provide high-quality, patient-centered neurological care in a collaborative clinical environment. You will evaluate and manage patients with a wide range of neurological conditions, working closely with supervising physicians and multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated, comprehensive care.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage patients with a wide range of neurological conditions
• Conduct new patient consultations and follow-up visits
• Perform comprehensive neurological assessments and physical exams
• Order and interpret diagnostic studies including imaging and labs
• Develop and manage treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians
• Educate patients and families on diagnosis, treatment options, and ongoing care
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the EMR
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care

Required Qualifications

• Current Texas license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
• National certification (AANP, ANCC, or NCCPA)
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous neurology or related specialty experience
