Night Shift - Nurse Practitioner - Hospitalists

McLeod Regional Medical Center is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join our established Hospitalist team in Florence, South Carolina. This is a full-time night shift opportunity for an NP interested in inpatient medicine and working as part of a collaborative hospital-based team.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs based on data collected through history, observation, physical examination, and analysis of diagnostic data
• Record physical findings and formulate plans and prognosis based on patient condition
• Plan, implement, and coordinate care to meet the holistic, age-specific needs of patients
• Perform physical examinations and preventative health measures within prescribed guidelines and physician instructions
• Discuss cases with physicians and other healthcare professionals to prepare comprehensive patient care plans
• Maintain a professional image and exhibit excellent customer relations with patients, visitors, physicians, and co-workers
• Foster an environment that demonstrates caring, compassion, and respect for all patients, families, and visitors
• Demonstrate professionalism and integrity

Required Qualifications

• Master's degree as a Nurse Practitioner
• Valid South Carolina RN License as Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) verified by the LLR
• Certification as a Nurse Practitioner by an approved accrediting agency
• Prescriptive privileges or eligibility to apply for prescriptive privileges
