New Graduate Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg

Atrium Health Lake Norman is seeking a New Graduate Registered Nurse (RN) for our Medical-Surgical unit. In this role, you will provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care using the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. You will apply evidence-based practice and clinical decision-making skills while working collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to create a safe patient environment and deliver an excellent patient experience.

Clinical Setting

You will work on a Medical-Surgical unit at Atrium Health Lake Norman, a collaborative, patient-centered environment that values clear communication, integrity, and innovation.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care using the nursing process
• Coordinate comprehensive patient care across the continuum
• Apply evidence-based practice and clinical decision-making
• Communicate therapeutically with patients and team members
• Lead efforts to create a safe patient environment
• Deliver high-quality patient experiences
• Adhere to established standards, policies, and procedures

Required Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program
• Active Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which you practice
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Current authorization to work in the United States on a full-time basis

Schedule

• 3 twelve-hour shifts per week
