Garfield Park Behavioral Hospital is seeking new graduate Registered Nurses to join our pediatric behavioral health team. You will provide professional nursing care to children and teens ages 3 to 17 in a dedicated inpatient unit, working within a multidisciplinary treatment team committed to evidence-based care and compassionate patient support.
Clinical Setting
Garfield Park Behavioral Hospital specializes in behavioral health and psychiatric support for children and adolescents. The facility is dedicated to treating every patient with compassion and respect, using individualized care approaches to instill hope in patients, families, and the community.
Responsibilities
- Provide professional nursing care on a designated unit consistent with hospital philosophy and objectives
- Prescribe, coordinate, and delegate nursing care utilizing the nursing process integrated into the multidisciplinary treatment team plan of care
- Assess patient needs and implement individualized care plans
- Initiate restraints or seclusion and assess continuation as clinically indicated
- Promote and enhance professional nursing practice on the unit
- Maintain accountability for assigned nursing care activities on a shift basis
Required Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred)
- Current CPR or BLS certification
- Registered Nurse (RN) license
Schedule
- Full-time position
- Available shifts include days, evenings, and nights
Compensation and Shift Differentials
- Starting pay: $42.00 per hour
- Salary range: $42.00 to $52.00 per hour
- Shift differentials: $3.25 per hour Monday through Thursday; $6.25 per hour Friday through Sunday for PM and night shifts
