Join Rochester Regional Health as a New Graduate Registered Nurse in the Clifton Springs Hospital Emergency Department Fellowship Program, designed exclusively for December 2026 RN graduates. This full-time position offers an education-oriented environment where you will learn alongside dedicated professionals in one of the busiest emergency departments in New York State outside of New York City. The fellowship provides an opportunity to experience the fast-paced ED setting and determine if emergency nursing is right for you.
The emergency department at Rochester Regional Health is a dynamic, high-volume clinical environment. This fellowship is available only to recent nursing graduates and provides structured support as you transition into professional practice.
This is a moderate clinical role requiring continual movement, including standing, walking, and lifting 20–50 lbs., along with pushing and pulling medical equipment and assisting with patient positioning. The role involves frequent bending, twisting, and reaching while completing fine motor tasks in busy or confined clinical environments. High sensory acuity is essential for monitoring patient status and responding to alarms or safety concerns. Emotional and cognitive demands are substantial, involving decision-making under pressure, responding to emergencies, and maintaining sustained focus. Environmental exposures include infectious agents, bodily fluids, chemicals, and radiation. TB testing, mask-fit testing, and physical exams are common requirements. Any physical requirements reported by a prospective employee and/or employee's physician or delegate will be considered for accommodations.
