Jessica Wong Nurse Practitioner is seeking a newly licensed Nurse Practitioner to join Wound Away, a healthcare practice in Santa Fe Springs, CA. This per diem position offers an excellent opportunity for a new graduate NP to launch their clinical career in a supportive, mentorship-driven environment, working up to 5-40 hours per week.

Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, physical exams, and health histories
- Diagnose and develop individualized treatment plans for acute and chronic conditions
- Prescribe medications and therapies in accordance with state NP scope of practice
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests including labs and imaging
- Provide patient education on disease management, prevention, and wellness
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to coordinate patient care
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR)
Required Qualifications
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- Active or pending California NP licensure and certification (FNP, AGNP, or related specialty)
- Current DEA registration or eligibility to obtain
- BLS/ACLS certification
- Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
- Patient-centered approach to care
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based practice setting
