Nao Medical is seeking a newly licensed Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) for our Hicksville clinic. This position offers a structured entry into independent practice with comprehensive support, modern clinical tools, and a clear pathway to full provider autonomy.
You will practice full-scope family medicine across the lifespan, delivering preventive care and acute visits to a dynamic patient population. AI-powered documentation tools minimize charting time, allowing you to focus on direct patient care and clinical decision-making.
New Grad Training Program
You will complete a three-month paid training program with no independent patient load during this period. Training includes:
- One-on-one in-person clinical mentorship with a tenured provider
- Self-paced online didactic program
- Hands-on skill development in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of acute and chronic conditions
- Direct supervision throughout the training period
- Skills-based competency testing before transitioning to independent practice
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and build evidence-based treatment plans for acute and chronic conditions
- Diagnose conditions, order and interpret labs and imaging, and refer to specialists as needed
- Educate patients on diagnoses, medications, and prevention strategies
- Document encounters in the EMR and utilize AI copilots for documentation and clinical decision support
- Maintain timely and compliant medical records
- Deliver attentive patient care while maintaining clinic flow to reduce wait times
- Run telemedicine visits as needed
- Partner with medical assistants, scribes, and aftercare teams
- Mentor interns and students
- Contribute ideas to improve clinic efficiency
- Participate in monthly provider syncs and one-on-one meetings
- Remain flexible across multiple schedule options
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree (MSN) or Doctorate (DNP) with Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) specialization
- Active New York State Nurse Practitioner license
- Board certification from AANP or ANCC (FNP)
- EMR experience and strong HIPAA knowledge
- FMCSA certification or willingness to obtain within three months
Preferred Qualifications
- One or more years of primary care or urgent care experience
- Bilingual English/Spanish proficiency
- DEA certification
- CDL (Commercial Driver's License)

Compensation
- Base Salary: $125,000 to $188,000 (depending on experience and schedule)
- Sign-On Bonus: Up to $5,000 (based on experience)
- Performance Bonus: Up to $45,000 annual incentive potential, paid quarterly
