Nao Medical is seeking a newly licensed Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) for our Bronx 174th clinic. This position offers a structured entry into independent practice with comprehensive support, mentorship, and modern clinical tools. You will provide full-scope family medicine across the lifespan, including preventive care and acute visits, supported by AI-powered documentation systems that minimize charting burden.

Clinical Setting

You will work at our Bronx 174th clinic within Nao Medical's multi-specialty healthcare network, serving the diverse patient populations of New York. The clinic environment emphasizes collaborative care with physicians, clinical staff, medical assistants, and scribes.

New Grad Training Program

This role includes a structured three-month paid training program designed specifically for new graduates:

  • One-on-one in-person clinical training with a tenured provider
  • Self-paced online didactic program
  • No independent patient load during training
  • Skills-based competency testing before transitioning to full provider role
  • Clear pathway to independent practice upon program completion

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and diagnose acute and chronic conditions across the lifespan
  • Develop evidence-based treatment plans and order appropriate labs and imaging
  • Interpret diagnostic results and refer to specialists when indicated
  • Educate patients on diagnoses, medications, and preventive care
  • Document encounters in the EMR using AI copilot tools for documentation and clinical decision support
  • Maintain timely and compliant medical records
  • Deliver attentive patient care while maintaining efficient clinic flow
  • Conduct telemedicine visits as needed
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team including physicians and clinical staff
  • Mentor interns and students
  • Contribute ideas to improve clinic efficiency and operations
  • Participate in monthly provider syncs and one-on-one meetings
  • Remain flexible across multiple schedule options

Required Qualifications

  • Master's degree (MSN) or Doctorate (DNP) with Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) specialization
  • Active New York State Nurse Practitioner license
  • Board certification from AANP or ANCC (FNP)
  • EMR experience and strong HIPAA knowledge
  • FMCSA certification or willingness to obtain within three months

Preferred Qualifications

  • One or more years of primary care or urgent care experience
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish
  • DEA certification
  • CDL (Commercial Driver's License)

Compensation

  • Base Salary: $125,000 to $188,000 (depending on experience and schedule)
  • Sign-On Bonus: Up to $5,000 (based on experience)
  • Performance Bonus: Up to $45,000 annual incentive potential, paid quarterly
