Sinai Hospital of Baltimore's Neuroscience Unit is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct clinical patient care on a 36-bed telemetry unit specializing in neurology and neurosurgery. You will care for patients with traumatic brain injury (TBI), stroke, seizure, and epilepsy, working alongside specialists in neurology, neurosurgery, and stroke care within a connected institute.
Sinai Hospital is a Thrombectomy-Capable Stroke Center certified by The Joint Commission and MIEMSS, and was the first hospital in Maryland to earn that designation. The hospital has received the highest stroke care award possible from the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association every year since 2008. The Comprehensive Epilepsy Center offers both medical and surgical treatment for epilepsy, including a dedicated Epilepsy Monitoring Unit that uses continuous video EEG to diagnose and guide care, with a team that includes fellowship-trained epileptologists and provides neuropsychological and psychosocial assessment.
