Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP)

Clinical Setting

The NICU represents all pediatric specialties, including ECMO, BPD, and surgical cases. You will manage patients from admission to discharge in a supportive team-based environment with no transport responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with physicians while working autonomously as an independent provider
• Manage acutely ill and convalescing neonates from admission to discharge
• Attend weekly neonatal and surgery continuing education seminars
• Attend monthly Neonatal Practitioner education series
• Perform other duties as assigned

Schedule

• Full-time position (1.0 FTE)
• 12-hour rotating day and night shifts
• Weekend and holiday coverage as needed
• Opportunities for overtime

Required Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree or higher (Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) preferred)
• Ohio APRN licensure
• NCC certification as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP)
