Neonatal Nurse Practitioner - Janesville, WI $145,000 - $165,000

Mercyhealth seeks a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to join the Pediatrics/Newborn Care team in Janesville, Wisconsin. In this role, you will provide high-quality care to healthy newborns in the Newborn Nursery while collaborating closely with pediatricians, obstetric providers, nursing staff, and hospital leadership in a family-centered environment.

Clinical Setting

You will practice primarily in the Newborn Nursery within a regional health system that operates 7 hospitals and over 100 primary and specialty care centers across northern Illinois and southern Wisconsin. The health system offers vast multi-specialty referral sources and utilizes EPIC EMR.

Schedule

• Rotating day, night, weekend, and holiday coverage

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Neonatal Nurse Practitioner program
• National certification as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP-BC)
• Active state APRN license
• Active state DEA license, or eligible to obtain
• Active BLS and NRP certifications, or eligible to obtain

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a nursery, NICU, or neonatal practice
• Experience attending deliveries and performing neonatal stabilization
• Strong clinical decision-making, communication, and teamwork skills
