Recovery Centers of America (RCA) is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide compassionate care in our addiction and mental health treatment centers. As an LPN, you will work with patients in our 24/7 treatment facilities, supporting evidence-based addiction recovery and mental health services.
Responsibilities
- Assess patient health by evaluating physiological and behavioral status, monitoring vital signs, behavioral changes, and response to treatment
- Administer medications safely and in accordance with prescribed treatment plans
- Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and clinical staff to ensure appropriate treatment and discharge planning
- Educate patients and families about addiction recovery and self-care practices
- Document patient progress and maintain medical records with accuracy and confidentiality
- Maintain a safe, structured environment that supports recovery and well-being while respecting the dignity and diversity of all individuals
- Complete documentation and follow organizational policies and procedures
Required Qualifications
- Active LPN license in the state of employment
- Current BLS certification (or willingness to obtain during orientation)
- Competency in performing CLIA waived testing
Preferred Qualifications
- One year of experience in behavioral health, addiction treatment, or detox services
- Phlebotomy skills
- Knowledge of healthcare, detoxification process, addiction, co-occurring disorders, and DSM Criteria
- Strong critical thinking and assessment skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Schedule and Employment
- Full-time, part-time, and per diem positions available

Compensation and Benefits
- Salary: $24.00 - $32.00 per hour

- Strict confidentiality of protected health information (PHI) and adherence to the principle of least privilege
Note: A former patient may not be hired at the same location where they were treated until a minimum of one year has elapsed since completion of treatment at that location. Former patients may be considered for employment at other RCA locations within one year after treatment.
