Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality, patient-centered care to adult patients before and after surgical procedures. You will work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary care team in a dynamic healthcare environment, delivering safe, effective, and compassionate patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to medical-surgical patients in accordance with hospital standards and nursing best practices
• Assess patient conditions, monitor vital signs, and respond quickly to changes in clinical status
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered by the physician
• Develop and initiate individualized computerized plans of care upon admission
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to support optimal patient outcomes
• Deliver culturally competent care that supports each patient's physical, emotional, and psychosocial needs
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the medical record
• Support patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA standards
• Demonstrate professionalism and strong communication with patients, families, and care team members
• Assist in other departments when needed and qualified to ensure continuity of patient care

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Current Registered Nurse license in the State of Oregon
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Master of Science in Nursing (MSN)
• Certified Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (CMSRN)
• Previous medical-surgical nursing experience

Schedule

• Day shift
• 3 shifts per week, 36 hours
