Medical Assistant, Licensed Practical Nurse, or Registered Nurse ~ Primary Care Clinic

Sidney Health Center is seeking a Medical Assistant, Licensed Practical Nurse, or Registered Nurse to join the Primary Care Clinic team. This full-time position plays a critical role in supporting patient care and wellness in the community through clinical and administrative duties in a primary care setting.

Clinical Setting

The Primary Care Clinic is part of Sidney Health Center, a not-for-profit critical access hospital and five-star rated facility serving the MonDak region. The clinic provides primary care services to the local community.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and take vital signs
• Complete intake documentation and assessments
• Assist providers with clinical procedures
• Call patients with test results
• Coordinate patient care
• File medical records and order medical supplies
• Perform additional duties as assigned by Primary Care Clinic providers

Schedule

Full-time position with 72 hours per two-week pay period.

Required Qualifications

• Completion of a Medical Assistant training program or relevant certification within 12 months of hire, OR an Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
• Proficiency in basic medical terminology and procedures
• Knowledge of electronic medical records (EMR) systems
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Licenses and Certifications

• Must complete certification with an accredited Medical Assistant program within 12 months of hire, OR hold a current unencumbered Montana/Compact LPN or RN license
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required

Compensation

Starting wages vary by credential:

• Medical Assistant (Uncertified): $17.75 per hour
• Medical Assistant (Certified): $19.00 per hour
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN): $24.50 per hour
• Registered Nurse (RN): $30.74 per hour

Wages are aligned with internal pay structure and experience.
