The opportunity

Job Description

The Well Lounge Medical Aesthetics, located inside the Newtown Athletic Club in Newtown, PA, is seeking a Medical Assistant to support an Aesthetic Nurse Injector. You will work directly with patients and clinical staff in a premium medical aesthetics practice that combines injectables, lasers, and skincare with longevity and wellness services. This role offers hands-on experience in medical aesthetics with mentorship from an experienced injector.

Clinical Setting

The Well Lounge Medical Aesthetics is a medical aesthetics and wellness practice emphasizing personalized, long-term treatment plans. The practice focuses on natural results and patient education, operating within a collaborative, education-first environment.

Responsibilities

  • Greet patients warmly and create a welcoming environment
  • Assist with patient intake, rooming, and in-depth documentation including medical history forms, treatment charting, and before and after photos while maintaining HIPAA confidentiality
  • Coordinate with providers and administrative staff to maintain smooth patient flow and consistent patient experience
  • Manage scheduling, appointment confirmations, and patient communications
  • Answer patient questions about appointments, skincare, treatments, services, pricing, and before and after care
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming practice environment
  • Prepare treatment rooms with necessary supplies and maintain equipment before and after appointments
  • Provide clinical assistance to the injector and patients before, during, and after appointments in a solution-oriented and proactive manner

Required Qualifications

  • Experience working directly alongside clinical providers

  • Quick learner eager to grow within the aesthetics industry

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, CCMA, or equivalent) or actively pursuing certification
  • Prior experience in medical aesthetics including injectables, lasers, and skincare
  • Familiarity with aesthetic products and services

Note: Prior aesthetics experience is a plus but not required. The practice is happy to train the right candidate on treatments, tools, and workflow.
