LPN School Nurse

Maxim Healthcare is hiring Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) to work as school nurses for the 2026-2027 school year in Allentown, PA. In this role, you will provide 1:1 skilled nursing care to students in classroom settings, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care according to prescribed orders.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
• Provide skilled nursing care and services in accordance with prescribed orders
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient's condition
• Collect, analyze, and interpret data and information from health care members
• Document actual and potential nursing diagnoses

Required Qualifications

• Current LPN/LVN license in the state where you will practice
• Current TB test or Chest X-Ray
• Current BLS certification

Preferred Qualifications

• One year of prior professional nursing experience
• Pediatric experience

Compensation

• Hourly pay: $30 - $35 per hour
