LPN School Nurse - Allen, TX

Maxim Healthcare is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to provide one-on-one nursing care for students with complex medical needs in a school setting in Allen, TX. This role involves direct patient care, medical management, and may include transportation with the student to and from school.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for students with medical needs including tracheostomy care, ventilator management, G-tube feedings, seizure monitoring with rescue medications, personal care, and diabetic care
• May ride the bus to and from school with the patient

Required Qualifications

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license in Texas
• Current Health Certificate (per facility)
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray
• Current BLS card

Preferred Qualifications

• One year prior LVN/LPN experience
