LPN - School Nurse - $1,400 Gross Weekly

Maxim Healthcare is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to provide one-on-one nursing care for a student with medical needs in the school setting in or near Smithfield, NC. This role involves direct patient care, medical monitoring, and may include transportation on the school bus.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for student(s) with complex medical needs including tracheostomy care, ventilator management, G-tube feedings, seizure monitoring with rescue medications, personal care, and diabetic care
• May ride the bus to and from school with the patient

Required Qualifications

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license in the state in which you practice
• Current Health Certificate (per facility)
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray
• Current BLS card

Preferred Qualifications

• One year prior LVN/LPN experience

Compensation

• Hourly Pay: $32.00 - $34.00
• $1,400 gross weekly
