LPN - Primary Care Malone Medical Practices - Licensed Practical Nurse

Malone Medical Practices at University of Vermont Health – Alice Hyde Medical Center is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse for a primary care clinic. This position is part of a team-based approach to delivering high-quality care. You will work alongside primary care providers who perform routine check-ups, well-care appointments, and coordinate care and referrals to specialists.

This position may be eligible for a sign-on bonus of up to $7,500, subject to terms, conditions, and change.

Responsibilities

• Perform tasks and responsibilities within the framework of case finding, health teaching, health counseling, provision of supportive and restorative care, administering medications, and providing nursing treatment under the direction of a registered nurse, licensed physician, or other health care provider
• Monitor that the Plan of Care is being followed by clinical staff under your supervision
• Supervise certified nurse aides or unlicensed assistive personnel
• Provide supervision, coordination, and evaluation of assigned unit health care team and services
