LPN - Per Diem School Nurse - Weekday/Daytime Hours

Excel Staffing Solutions LLC is seeking Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to provide per diem nursing coverage within the Greece Central School District in Greece, NY. This is an as-needed position providing coverage when regular nursing staff are out due to vacations, sick days, personal days, leaves, or other staffing needs. This role is ideal for an LPN seeking flexible daytime shifts without committing to a traditional full-time schedule.

Clinical Setting

You will work in a school-based health office environment, supporting the Greece Central School District. You will work with students in a supportive educational setting during weekday daytime hours only, with no evening or overnight shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic nursing care to students
• Administer medications
• Provide first aid and respond to student health concerns
• Monitor students with known medical needs
• Follow student care plans and physician orders
• Maintain accurate nursing documentation
• Communicate appropriately with school staff, parents, and healthcare providers
• Support the school health office as needed

Schedule

This is a per diem, as-needed position with no guaranteed weekly hours. Weekday daytime hours only. Coverage opportunities may become available for planned vacations as well as unexpected sick calls and other absences.

Required Qualifications

• Current New York State LPN license in good standing
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Comfortable working independently in a school environment
• Ability to complete required school district and Excel Staffing credentialing
