LPN Licensed Practical Nurse

The Waters of Kingsport is hiring Licensed Practical Nurses for full-time positions in long-term care. In this role, you will provide direct patient care to residents, including making rounds to observe and evaluate their physical, emotional, and social needs. You will prepare and administer medications, administer treatments, consult with physicians, and communicate with the director of nursing and staff.

Responsibilities

• Make rounds to observe and evaluate residents' physical, emotional, and social needs
• Prepare and administer medications and maintain medication charts
• Administer treatments as assigned
• Consult with physicians regarding patient care
• Communicate with the director of nursing and nursing staff
• Carry out assigned duties in accordance with federal and state regulations and company policies

Required Qualifications

• Active Licensed Practical Nurse license in good standing, currently licensed in Tennessee
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Strong organizational skills
• Good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication, leadership, and mentoring skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Long-term care experience
