LPN, Licensed Practical Nurse - Texarkana Specialty OBGYN

This position provides clinical support in a specialty obstetrics and gynecology clinic setting under the supervision of physicians and registered nurses. You will deliver direct patient care, assist with examinations and procedures, and perform various clinical and administrative duties to support patient flow and care delivery.

Responsibilities

• Obtain vital signs, weigh patients, and collect specimens including phlebotomy as appropriate for the site
• Assist providers with patient examinations, treatment, and procedures
• Administer medications and immunizations according to provider orders
• Answer phones, record messages, and assist with patient-related calls
• Assist with scheduling test appointments, obtaining results, and managing pre-certifications
• Document patient information in medical records
• Assist providers with medication refills
• Clean and restock examination rooms
• Clean equipment in accordance with policy and maintain sterile technique
• Order stock supplies from the supply department
• Perform routine clerical duties including locating patient charts, filing, and completing routine forms
• Assist with overall patient flow through the clinic
• Attend required meetings and in-service training
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Meet expectations of applicable OneCHRISTUS Competencies: Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders

Required Qualifications

• Active LPN license in the state of employment or compact license
• BLS certification
• CERT certification

Schedule

• Full-time position
• 5 days per week, 8 hours per day
