LPN Licensed Practical Nurse

Life Care Centers of America is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to join our skilled nursing team. As an LPN, you will deliver quality nursing care to patients through direct interpersonal contact, helping them attain or maintain the highest practicable physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being. You will work as part of an interdisciplinary team in a long-term care setting.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and report changes in patients' conditions
• Provide direct nursing care to assigned patients
• Assign duties to and provide clinical supervision to CNAs
• Instruct and oversee CNA activities
• Make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action
• Deliver quality nursing care in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards

Schedule and Shift Differentials

• Monday through Friday: Evening shift differential $3 per hour; Night shift differential $7 per hour
• Saturday and Sunday: Day shift differential $3 per hour; Evening shift differential $4 per hour; Night shift differential $10 per hour

Required Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited LPN program
• Current, active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license in good standing in your applicable state
• CPR certification upon hire or obtained during orientation; must remain current throughout employment
• Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action
• Ability to knowledgeably and competently deliver quality nursing care to patients
• Excellent customer service skills and positive attitude toward patients

Preferred Qualifications

• One year of skilled nursing experience
