LPN Licensed Practical Nurse

Life Care Centers of America is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to join our skilled nursing team. As an LPN, you will deliver quality nursing care to patients while monitoring and reporting changes in their condition. You will work as part of an interdisciplinary team to help patients attain or maintain the highest practicable physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and company standards.

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality nursing care to patients through interpersonal contact
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition
• Assign duties to and provide clinical supervision to CNAs
• Instruct CNAs on patient care procedures
• Make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action
• Provide competent, knowledgeable nursing care

Required Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited LPN program
• Current active Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) license in good standing in your applicable state
• Maintain an active license throughout employment
• CPR certification upon hire or obtain during orientation; must remain current during employment

Preferred Qualifications

• One year of skilled nursing experience
