LPN Licensed Practical Nurse

Life Care Centers of America is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to join our interdisciplinary healthcare team. As an LPN, you will deliver quality nursing care to patients in a skilled nursing facility setting, working to help patients attain or maintain the highest practicable physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients through interpersonal contact
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition
• Assign duties to and provide clinical supervision to CNAs
• Instruct and support nursing assistants in patient care delivery
• Make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action
• Deliver quality nursing care in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards

Required Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited LPN program
• Current active Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) license in good standing in your applicable state
• Maintain an active license throughout employment
• CPR certification upon hire or obtain during orientation; must remain current during employment
• Excellent customer service skills and positive attitude toward patients

Preferred Qualifications

• One year of skilled nursing experience
