LPN Licensed Practical Nurse

We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to join our skilled nursing team. As an LPN, you will deliver quality nursing care to patients in our facility, which is part of Life Care Centers of America, a 47-year industry leader with over 200 locations across the U.S. This position offers a sign-on bonus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality nursing care to patients through direct interpersonal contact
• Monitor and report changes in patients' conditions
• Assign duties to and provide clinical supervision to CNAs
• Instruct and support nursing assistants in their daily tasks
• Support patients in attaining or maintaining the highest practicable physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being
• Make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action
• Deliver knowledgeable and competent quality nursing care
• Exhibit excellent customer service and maintain a positive attitude toward patients

Required Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited LPN program
• Current active Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) license in good standing in your applicable state
• Maintain an active license throughout employment
• CPR certification upon hire or obtain during orientation; must remain current during employment

Preferred Qualifications

• One year of skilled nursing experience
