LPN Licensed Practical Nurse

Life Care Centers of America is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to join our interdisciplinary healthcare team. As an LPN, you will deliver quality nursing care to patients in a skilled nursing facility setting, monitoring and reporting changes in patient condition while supporting patients in attaining or maintaining their highest practicable physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being.

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality nursing care to patients through interpersonal contact
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition
• Assign duties to and provide clinical supervision to CNAs
• Instruct CNAs on patient care procedures
• Make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action
• Ensure care is delivered in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards

Required Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited LPN program
• Current active Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) license in good standing, maintained throughout employment
• CPR certification upon hire or obtained during orientation; must remain current during employment
• Ability to deliver quality nursing care competently and knowledgeably
• Excellent customer service skills and positive attitude towards patients

Preferred Qualifications

• One year of skilled nursing experience

Compensation

• Sign-on bonus of $3,000 for full-time positions
