Job Description

This part-time Licensed Practical Nurse position is based in a long-term care setting in Penn Yan, NY, serving adult and geriatric residents. You will provide direct nursing care, assist with medications and treatments, support residents with activities of daily living, monitor resident conditions, and report changes to supervising nurses. The role emphasizes creating a safe, comfortable, and supportive care environment.

Schedule

Part-Time | 24 Hours per week
Night Shift (2x8 or 3x8 rotation)
Every other weekend and holiday required
Ability to begin orientation on a Tuesday or Thursday

Responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care and support to adult and geriatric residents
Assist with medications, treatments, and activities of daily living
Monitor resident conditions and observe for changes
Report changes in resident condition to supervising nurses
Promote a safe, comfortable, and supportive care environment

Required Qualifications

Active New York LPN License
Current BLS certification (AHA or RQI)
Minimum 1 year of LPN experience
