LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse)

We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for our overnight shift. This is a full-time position working 3 days per week on a 12-hour night shift schedule (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM), including every other weekend. New graduates are welcome to apply.

Schedule

• Full-time, 3 days per week
• 12-hour shifts
• Night shift: 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend

Responsibilities

• Provide safe resident care, demonstrating knowledge and competency in completing assigned treatments and procedures according to established standards and policies
• Maintain awareness of new updates and standards, incorporating them into nursing practice throughout the continuum of care
• Participate in the improvement process of quality resident care
• Incorporate age-specific needs in provision of care, procedures, and treatments
• Communicate pertinent resident information and plan of care before breaks, during transfer, and at shift report
• Accurately administer medications according to the five rights of medication administration and document accordingly
• Accurately perform treatments utilizing sterile or clean technique
• Accurately administer external feedings
• Complete resident care-related activities within scheduled shift time periods
• Cooperate with reassignments made in the interest of resident care
• Report resident care problems and possible solutions to appropriate nursing management personnel

Required Qualifications

• Active LPN license
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience

Compensation

• Starting rate: $35.00 to $35.50 per hour (based on years of experience)
• Evening differential: $36.75 per hour
• Night differential: $36.60 per hour
• Sign-on bonus: $5,000 for full-time employees, paid over 2 years
