LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) - Days

Lawrence Presbyterian Manor is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide direct nursing care to residents in our senior living community. In this day shift position, you will supervise nursing assistants and coordinate day-to-day nursing activities while maintaining the highest standards of quality care. You will work within a faith-based, not-for-profit organization committed to person-centered care and creating a home-like environment for our residents.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents
• Supervise and coordinate nursing activities performed by nursing assistants
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations governing long-term care
• Maintain quality care standards as required by the department director or supervisor
• Model person-centered care and support residents and their families

Clinical Setting

This position is based in a senior living community providing long-term care and assisted living services.

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved LPN program
• Current valid license to practice as an LPN in the state
• Knowledge of nursing and medical practices and procedures
• Knowledge of laws, regulations, and guidelines governing long-term care

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous geriatric nursing or long-term care experience
• IV certification

Schedule

Days shift position.

Compensation

Starting at $27.00 per hour, plus shift and weekend differential with the premium pay plan. Additional pay based upon experience.
