LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) Behavioral Unit Dayshift (PT)

Cedars of Lebanon is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for part-time dayshift work on our Behavioral Unit. This role provides direct patient care to residents with mental health and behavioral needs in a safe, supportive environment within our long-term care and rehabilitation facility.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to residents in the Behavioral Unit, including assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating individualized care plans
• Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed by physicians and in accordance with facility policies and procedures
• Develop and maintain effective relationships with residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive care
• Monitor and report any changes in resident status or condition to the charge nurse or supervisor
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve resident outcomes and satisfaction
• Collaborate with other departments, such as social services and therapeutic recreation, to provide a holistic approach to resident care

Required Qualifications

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licensure in the state of Ohio
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care

• New graduates are welcome to apply; zero years of experience is acceptable for this position
