LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse - 69th & Louise Family Medicine Clinic - FT Days

Sanford Health is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for full-time day shifts at the 69th & Louise Family Medicine Clinic in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. This ambulatory nursing role provides quality, holistic care to patients throughout their healthcare journey in a busy outpatient clinic setting that processes 5.2 million visits annually. You will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, Advanced Practice Provider, or Physician, serving as the primary nurse for a provider within your scope of practice.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the health, comfort, and safety of patients
• Document thorough medical histories from patients
• Contribute to patient assessments and administer medications or treatments as ordered
• Provide technical support to healthcare professionals
• Counsel patients and families, under the direction of a registered nurse, on prevention and treatment plans

Schedule

• Full-time position
• Day shift
• 40 hours per week

Required Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program
• Current unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license with State Nursing Board or multi-state licensure privileges
• Obtain and maintain required department-specific competencies and certifications
• If the position requires IV therapy/management skills, completion of an IV Therapy course approved by the North Dakota Board of Nursing or graduation from a Board-approved AASPN program where IV therapy is part of the curriculum

Compensation and Benefits
