LPN - 1:1 School Nurse

BAYADA Pediatric Offices is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide one-to-one skilled nursing care to pediatric clients in home and school settings. This is a day shift position offering flexible scheduling and the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with individual clients while supporting their health and development.

Clinical Setting

You will work in private duty nursing, providing hands-on care to a single pediatric client per day. This differs from traditional home health visits in that you will follow consistent shifts (8, 10, or 12 hours) with the same client, allowing you to develop ongoing relationships and observe their progress and milestones. Positions are available in home and school settings with no weekend requirements.

Responsibilities

• Travel to one assigned client location on a schedule you choose
• Execute and properly document physicians' orders
• Perform assessments and monitor clients' health conditions
• Report any changes in the client's condition to the Clinical Manager and physician
• Document observations, interventions, and evaluations

Required Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited and approved nursing program, as indicated by school transcript or diploma
• Current nursing license in good standing in the state

Schedule

Traditional shifts available in 8, 10, or 12-hour increments. You select the schedule that works for you. No weekend requirements.
