Locums Interventional Radiologist

We are seeking a Physician for locum tenens coverage in a hospital setting. This position provides flexible staffing support during peak periods and holidays, including Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's. You will manage a mix of low-volume elective cases with occasional emergency procedures, maintaining hospital privileges and adhering to facility protocols.

Responsibilities

• Provide coverage during holidays and peak periods
• Manage scheduled elective cases and respond to emergency cases, including PE thrombectomy and obstetric hemorrhage
• Perform basic procedures including thoracentesis, paracentesis, PICC line placement, and HD catheter placement
• Maintain hospital privileges and comply with facility protocols
• Provide weekday and weekend call coverage, including evening and weekend responsibilities

Required Qualifications

• Active medical license
• Current hospital privileges
• Ability to manage both scheduled and emergency cases efficiently
• Strong procedural skills and clinical competence
