Locum Gastroenterology Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant – Inpatient - Toledo, OH

We are seeking a Board Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide locum coverage for inpatient gastroenterology services at hospital locations in Toledo and Perrysburg, Ohio. This is an ongoing position with flexible scheduling (every other week: 7 days on, 7 days off) starting as soon as possible.

Clinical Setting

You will work in a 100% inpatient hospital-based gastroenterology practice, including coverage at a Level I Trauma Center. The role involves managing an adult patient population with an average daily census of 20–25 patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient gastroenterology consultations
• Conduct follow-up visits for gastroenterology patients
• Schedule and prepare patients for endoscopy procedures
• Provide coverage across multiple hospital locations
• Manage first call responsibilities during scheduled shifts only

Schedule

• Sunday through Saturday
• 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• No on-call duties outside scheduled shifts

Required Qualifications

• Board Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
• Active Ohio license
• BLS certification

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience

Credentialing

Temporary privileges are available while permanent credentialing is processed. Final credentialing timeframe is to be determined.
