Licensed School Nurse

Willmar Public Schools is seeking a Licensed School Nurse to oversee, plan, supervise, and implement health services district-wide. Working under the direction of the building Principal, you will provide skilled nursing services, health assessments, and nursing treatments while developing and implementing district-wide health services policies and procedures. You will supervise health personnel and plan programs that address health-related barriers to learning and promote wellness for students and staff.

Responsibilities

• Oversee, plan, supervise, and implement health services programs, operations, and staff
• Provide skilled nursing services and nursing treatments
• Conduct health assessments and evaluations
• Develop and implement district-wide health services policies and procedures
• Supervise health personnel
• Plan and implement programs addressing health-related barriers to learning
• Promote wellness initiatives for students and staff

Required Qualifications

• Licensed School Nurse through PELSB
• Registered Nurse license from the Minnesota Board of Nursing
• Public Health Nurse licensure from the Minnesota Board of Nursing
• Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience or directly related work experience
• Bachelor's Degree

Schedule

• 7.5 hours per day
• Approximately 7:15 AM to 3:15 PM
• 182 working days per year (2026-2027 school year)
• District-wide position

Compensation

• Bachelor's Degree: $52,870 to $85,544
• Master's Degree: $60,558 to $91,310
• Master's + 40/PhD/PsyS/EdS/EdD: $68,246 to $93,232
• Compensation based upon credentials including education and experience per Teacher Master agreement
