Licensed School Nurse (LSN) - 205543

This full-time Licensed School Nurse position serves students in the Anoka-Hennepin school district, providing comprehensive health care and health promotion in a school setting. You will work with children and adolescents to maintain their optimal health and support their educational success.

Responsibilities

• Maintain student optimum health through assessment, screening, and health care planning
• Perform disease prevention and surveillance activities
• Complete medical procedures as needed
• Conduct health referrals and coordinate care
• Maintain accurate health documentation
• Triage health concerns and respond quickly and calmly to student health needs
• Maintain confidentiality of student health information

Required Qualifications

• Minnesota Department of Education (MDE) Licensed School Nurse (LSN) license
• Current Minnesota RN license
• Public Health Nurse (PHN) certificate
• CPR/AED certification for health care providers
• Ability to triage and respond quickly and decisively to health situations
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
• Ability to accept and utilize supervision
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Interest in working in a fast-paced nursing role with children and adolescents

Compensation and Schedule

• Full-time position
• Salary range: $53,529 to $106,751 based on full-time equivalency (1.0 FTE) and verified placement on the salary schedule
• Start date: October 7, 2026
• Candidates with proper licensure may be hired immediately
