Stratford Medical Group is seeking a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse to join our men's sexual health clinic. In this role, you will provide compassionate and professional nursing care to male patients seeking treatment for sexual health concerns, including erectile dysfunction. You will work closely with patients in a confidential, professional clinic atmosphere while assisting physicians with patient assessments, treatments, and in-office procedures.
Responsibilities
- Assist with initial patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and patient history review
- Perform routine diagnostic tests and nursing procedures such as blood draws and injections following established protocols
- Administer treatments and medications under physician supervision
- Prepare and assist the physician with in-office procedures related to men's sexual health
- Accurately document patient interactions in patient charts and ensure compliance with medical documentation standards
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sterile clinic environment by following proper infection control protocols
- Ensure all patient interactions adhere to HIPAA guidelines and maintain strict confidentiality
- Assist with daily clinic operations, including managing patient flow and collaborating with team members
- Adhere to all relevant federal, state, and local regulations and organizational policies
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited LPN program
- Current LPN license in the state
- Minimum 3 years of nursing experience
- BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to discuss sensitive topics professionally and with empathy
- Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment while maintaining attention to detail and quality of care
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and commitment to patient privacy
- Computer literacy with data entry skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Ability to listen, identify patient needs, and offer solutions
