Licensed Practical Nurse - SNF/Tooele (55075)

Rocky Mountain Care - Willow Springs in Tooele, UT is seeking Licensed Practical Nurses to join our skilled nursing facility team. In this role, you will deliver direct care to a group of residents, assess their needs, develop individual care plans, administer nursing care, and supervise Certified Nursing Assistants and other personnel in the delivery of nursing care.

Clinical Setting

This is a skilled nursing facility (SNF) position working with the aging population in a long-term care environment.

Compensation

Shift differentials are provided for night shift and weekend shifts.

Required Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered, active license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Utah
• Demonstrate clinical assessment skills at the level necessary to meet job requirements
• Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action
• Knowledge of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to long-term care
• Effective interpersonal skills and ability to work with an interdisciplinary care team
• Basic understanding of computer technology, including email use
• Proven written and oral communication skills
• Proven decision-making and analytical skills
• Ability to relate positively, favorably, and cooperatively with employees, residents, family members, and personnel of outside agencies and organizations
• Positive attitude and desire to work with the aging population
