Aveanna Healthcare is hiring Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN/LVN) for school day shifts in home-based care. As one of the largest private duty nursing companies in the nation, Aveanna provides compassionate homecare to children and adults, delivering clinical services directly in patients' homes with support from a national clinical team.
In this role, you will provide direct patient care in home settings, work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to achieve outstanding clinical outcomes, and use electronic documentation via tablet systems provided in each patient's home. You will have access to 24/7 local support from operators and clinicians.
Schedule
- School day shifts available
- Flexible scheduling options: full-time, part-time, or PRN
- Days, nights, and weekend shifts available based on your availability
Required Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered LPN/LVN license in the state where you will practice (compact licenses must be transferred to your state of residence within 30 days)
- Current CPR certification with hands-on component (Aveanna can assist in obtaining this after hire if necessary)
- TB skin test current within the last 12 months
- Reliable transportation
- Compliance with all health-related requirements in relevant jurisdictions, including required vaccinations and testing, subject to exemptions for medical or religious reasons

- Six months of prior hands-on nursing experience
