Licensed Practical Nurse | Paulding RSAT | $29-$34 an hour | Day shift

Centurion Health is seeking a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join the day shift team at Paulding RSAT in Dallas, Georgia. In this role, you will provide holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients within the appropriate scope of practice, working under the direction of Registered Nurses and medical and psychiatric staff. You will respond to a range of physical and behavioral health needs in a structured clinical environment with clear policies, dedicated security presence, and supportive nursing leadership.

Clinical Setting

Paulding RSAT is a correctional healthcare facility operated by Centurion Health as the provider of mental health and medical services for the Georgia Department of Corrections. This role offers day shift hours without the constant interruptions and stress of traditional hospital settings, and there are no family or visitor interactions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, ethical, and evidence-based nursing care
• Follow established safety, security, and infection control protocols
• Monitor patient conditions and report changes appropriately
• Collaborate with medical, mental health, and custody teams
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation

Schedule

• Full-time, day shift
• Monday through Friday

Required Qualifications

• Active and valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license (Compact or Georgia)
• Active and valid Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Two years of experience in behavioral health, correctional, or emergency room settings
• Ability to obtain security clearance through the Georgia Department of Corrections, including drug screening and criminal background check

Compensation

• $29 to $34 per hour
