Licensed Practical Nurse / Night Shift

West Meade Place is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse for night shift work in a senior care setting. This position offers the opportunity to provide direct patient care in a family-oriented, team-based environment with low patient ratios. You will utilize the nursing process in assessment, planning, and implementing care while maintaining clinical competency and integrating current standards of practice.

Responsibilities

• Maintain clinical competency through application of integrated nursing knowledge and skills
• Utilize the nursing process in assessment, planning, and implementing patient care
• Demonstrate organizational ability related to workflow and prioritizing patient care needs
• Integrate current standards of practice and local, state, and federal regulations in patient care
• Practice continuous quality improvement and problem-solving skills
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care with strong communication and teamwork

Clinical Setting

West Meade Place is a senior care facility located in Nashville, Tennessee. The role involves working with geriatric patients in a long-term care environment.

Schedule and Shift

• Night shift position
• Weekend shift differential available
• Overtime available at time and a half
• No paid leave plan; employees receive an additional $2 per hour in lieu of paid leave

Required Qualifications

• Active Tennessee LPN license or RN license
• Facility also hires Graduate Nurses (GNs) and Graduate Practical Nurses (GPNs)

Compensation

• LPN pay up to $38 per hour, including shift differential (based on years of experience and shift)
• Full-time sign-on bonus: $5,000
• Part-time sign-on bonus: $2,500
• Overtime at time and a half
• Weekend shift differential
